Client News: Mercy House Cautions Homeless to Remain Vigilant

In an interview with NBC News reporter Vikki Vargas on the safety of the homeless in light of the recent homicides in Orange County, Calif., Mercy House Executive Director Larry Haynes cautions,

Even with a suspect in custody, the homeless should remain vigilant until it is certain that they have the right person.

Mercy House operates the emergency cold weather shelter program for the county.
